Jonathon’s reading and writing has come on leaps and bounds since he has got his colour lens glasses. He has noticeably more confidence.
Because he has a twin it was obvious that his reading was not as good as his brother’s. However, with the help of his glasses his reading has improved 100% and his writing is now legible.

Christopher was a bright pupil at school who excelled in most subjects until he started secondary school. Here he began to suffer from headaches and to fall behind in English. Previously an avid reader, he stopped reading for pleasure and obtained very low marks in his English exams at the end of year 7, which his teacher felt was out of character with his ability.
When he started wearing prescription tinted glasses the change was dramatic. His English teacher monitored his progress and at the end of year 8 he improved by 15% above the rest of the class. In year 9 he was admitted to the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth – recognising his ability as in the top 5% of students in the country. By the end of year 10 he was in the top 3 in set 1 for English. He now reads for pleasure and the headaches have gone completely.

Since my daughter has been wearing tinted glasses she has improved in her reading and spelling. She will now pick up a book and read to herself, whereas before she would not. Over the last 12 months her school has noticed her growing confidence and an improvement to her reading.

Since George had his tinted glasses his reading speed escalated immediately. He has continued to enjoy reading and his eyes no longer water and become painful. Had our private tutor had not had an interest in Dyslexia we may never have realised as nobody else i.e. Doctors, Teachers and Psychologists had suggested this may help.
I believe the screening test should be mandatory at school as lots of children’s lives could be improved just like Georges. He is now a true reader enjoying the world of books and comics. Thanks.

Philips reading skills have doubled his skills since he has been wearing his glasses. His school work has improved in every subject. He is occasionally teased in school because of his colour lenses but when we explain to him how much he has improved he knows that its for the best. He does not suffer with as many headaches as he did in the past.

Daniel is improving every day in his reading skills since getting his colour lenses. He is still being teased in school because of the colour lenses but his teachers are very supportive and always encourage him to wear his glasses. Daniel has not been wearing his glasses very long but you can see such an improvement.
